Stoneware cup and saucer in a mide grey green glaze.
Borja Moronta works from his studio in Edinburgh, Scotland, and makes wheel thrown fine earthenware tableware. Erring on the side of minimal, his shapes are refined and sharp, perhaps reflecting his training as an architect.
He has developed a range of matt/satin glazes, neutral colours which subtly move from pale warm cream to a dark gunmetal grey called Nightshade Blue.

Suitable size for single or double espresso, or a long black coffee / caffe lungo - approx. 150ml.
Tapered cup: Height 6cm; Base diameter 69.5cm; Lip diameter 7cm.
Overall width including handle 11cm.
Saucer: Diameter 11.5cm; Height 1cm.
