Stoneware cup in a concrete grey glaze.
Borja Moronta works from his studio in Edinburgh, Scotland, and makes wheel thrown fine earthenware tableware. Erring on the side of minimal, his shapes are refined and sharp, perhaps reflecting his training as an architect.
He has developed a range of matt/satin glazes, neutral colours which subtly move from pale warm cream, greys to a dark gunmetal called Nightshade Blue.

Suitable size for tea, hot chocolate or a long black coffee, or ideal for soup.
